=======================UPDATED======================= If you are experiencing calibration issues then please follow the steps below before posting. 1. Go to the Calibration Menu Via The Options Menu 2. Select Play Calibration Song 3. Select Your Instrument and Skill ( Preferably Drums ) 4. When the game loads you must hit the notes based on Audio Cues only. (It can be best not even to look at the board ) 5. Press Green to Continue to the Video Calibration 6. When the game plays this time you must hit the notes based on Visual Cues only. (This can be a big tricky but you should expect to get a low number if you are using a monitor and a higher number if you are using a TV). 7. Press Green and the game should save the calibration values. Thanks David

I feel like I must be crazy, but since updating to 0.75 I haven't been able to play anything in synch. I recalibrated with the calibration track, picked a song I know is in synch, one that played fine on 0.71, and it's off. The thing is, the audio is generally behind, so I assume that decreasing the delay value will change the audio to come earlier, no? That's pretty intuitive. Yet when I do decrease the value, even drastically, say from 20 to -100, the audio seems even further behind (if I ignore the audio and just play the notes I'm hitting everything way early, or change to drunk mode I'd expect the accuracy display to consistently say early if trying to keep with the audio as opposed to very late). I generally keep the average delay display on, but resetting the audio delay to it does not help. Say if it reads 8, I might actually have the audio delay set to 60 and it's (more) in time.
I'm assuming the item "Audio calibration values no longer minus values" in the 0.75 release has something to do with it and works differently than it did previously?

There have been many changes to the timing code since the last version. With the advent of practice mode which allows speed control I've had to change alot which means it's likely there are some bugs somewhere. I'll add this bug to my list. However, we're about to make another bugfix release tonight which has one timing code fix. I'm not sure if it will help you but it's worth a try. It should be availible in the next 30mins or so. Let me know if it helped or not. Thanks David

I'm using 0.75f now and I'm having more success with timing.
Thanks

why do you have a headset?
HDMI lag = video delay

audio and video delay are two separate entities altogether. You should be able to play with your laptop through a HDMI cable while using a bluetooth headset.

This method is now redundant as we have a calibration song available from the calibrations menu.

just select it in the options menu, play the calibration song and it'll attempt to work out suitable values based on your timing, it may need further fine tuning afterwards but hopefully its enough to give you some ballpark figures to work with
