yeah for audio calibration part you play following the sound, just look away from the screen.

I have followed the steps mentioned in the first post. However, when I do the calibration song, the audio delay ends up at -2147483648.
The video delay song doesn't show any notes at all.
Help please?
(Seems like I have the same problem jetleebog had, but he didn't post the solution to his problem.)

Sorry, this is an old method for calibration. New versions Don't work like this. It's the audio delay that shouldn't show any notes when using the calibration song. Just Follow These Steps:
1. Go to the Calibration Menu Via The Options Menu 2. Select Play Calibration Song 3. Select Your Instrument and Skill ( Preferably Drums ) 4. When the game loads you must hit the notes based on the Audio Cue. (I can be best not even to look at the board ) 5. Press Green to Continue to the Video Calibration 6. When the game plays this time you must hit the notes based on Visual Cues only. (This can be a big tricky but you should expect to get a low number if you are using a monitor and a higher number if you are using a TV). 7. Press Green and the game should save the calibration values.
Thanks David

Thanks, that's better. My audio delay now is -10, video delay is 0.
But when I'm playing a normal song, it's still a little bit 'off'. If I play by ear, it'll say 'early' a lot.
I don't understand why this is, because I know for sure I did the calibration thing correctly..?

Is it all songs or just a few? Some songs are not perfectly synced. But try and alter the values manually and see if you can find a sweet spot.

Either you're unconsistent, your computer isn't good enough or the songs are from different packages, which means they're synced differently.

The calibration only gives you a "in the ball park" calibration, you may need to fine tune it some, so maybe try playing a song you know is 100% in sync and adjsut the value by 50 until it feels synced.

Either you're unconsistent, your computer isn't good enough or the songs are from different packages, which means they're synced differently. Maybe I'm inconsistent, I wouldn't know. I think I'm doing the right thing, but in one song I'm 'early' a lot, on the other I'm 'late' all of the time. I do have different packages, so that might be a problem as well. I'm running the game on a 1,30 GHz dual core netbook with 2 GB's of RAM. Is that sufficient? Thanks for your help, guys!

...or the songs are from different packages, which means they're synced differently. If this is the case - also for the bluzer RB-releases? - might there be storing of different delays per Package helpful?

bluzer rips shouldnt need any delay values.
