Is it too late for this, with the update up and all?
I'm currently working on a song called "Psychedelic" by Hagroth and God's Almighty Psychonauts.
If you need something that's final tier on all but vocals (and dance, I don't plan on making a dance chart for an experimental death metal song), here's something.

We're an indie band with tons of original music and would love to have our songs in Phase Shift officially. What would we have to do in order to make this happen? Would we need to author the tracks ourselves, or would someone on the team author the applicable tracks? freeningreen.bandcamp.com/ Everything is applicable for the game, but the best and highest quality stuff would be on "Another Adventure!", which is our third main album. (Everything to the left is a main album, the stuff to the right is side material.) Would you guys choose the tracks you'd want? Very exciting stuff!

Would we need to author the tracks ourselves, or would someone on the team author the applicable tracks? The community creates the playable tabs for available instruments. This can be a kinda long process, depending on who can do what and when, but if you want to help us authoring the songs you can give a try The most important thing is that you'll have to bring separated tracks for each instrument. If not, songs won't be released directly ingame, but we can still use them for future DLCs (but that's be a shame) I've just listened to several songs, I really like your "Another Adventure !" album If you can get stems of the album, I'd be pleased to work on some PS : Before you confuse, I'm just a community member, not an admin or anything :>

Hey, I've heard of you guys! ;D Stemming is pretty flexible, if you want it to be. The more clever you are with putting tracks to what, the easier and/or more open to authoring notes it can become. www.dwsk.co.uk/phase_shift_readme.html#audioAuthoring tracks can be done by just about anybody in the community. There's plenty of options you can do to make the song more presentable, too, if not just by playing the song itself. From that album, my vote would definitely be for "Subterranian Steps".

Hi, thanks for the message, basically the only thing needed to get started is providing the audio in the format used by the game, details of the games song standard can be found in the split audio section of the readme www.dwsk.co.uk/index_phase_shift_readme.htmlalso if you have any additional files such as guitar tabs or lyrics then these can help the process a lot when it comes to picking songs, if you don't have any real preference then we usually go with a forum vote to see what people think would work well edit: lol slow with the post, mostly the same info as already mentioned

Oh sure, then let the voting begin! Sidenote, we don't think we can provide "Grace & Graffiti" from "Another Adventure!" because of the open nature of the game, and the licensed samples used to create it. It might be violating the agreement we had with the sample providers. (unless there is some kind of stem encryption going on in Phase Shift, but it seems to be completely open to the public)
(There aren't really tabs for the tracks though, sadly. Lyrics are A-OK though.)

Even sheet music is helpful, if available, for authoring vocals (for possible future use) and keys tracks.

I believe FantomenK might be a great candidate for being added to the game. He remakes some old tracks but also makes his own electronic music. He has already gotten one of his songs into one of the versions of Guitar Hero. www.youtube.com/user/FantomenKwww.myspace.com/fantomenkI don't personally know him, but he seems like someone who would be very open to this type of thing.
