I just charted one of my first songs, the first being the guitar track. I found out that all instruments use the same track. How can I change that?

You need to have multiple tracks for the instruments. Drums should be labeled "drums.ogg", and so forth.

Do I have to put all 5 files in at once?

you put all the stems in one folder and label them correctly

The tutorial was put together as a rather quick guide to making a simple chart, it doesn't go over any higher level stuff such as using multiple audio files.

If you don't have separated audio stems, you can't do what you're asking.

I do. The song I'm using has 4 stems.
Melody 1 Melody 2 Bass Drums
It's the Title Screen music from Tetris.

they need to be mixed into
guitar.ogg rythem.ogg drums.ogg song.ogg
song.ogg would be what you mix everything you don't chart into

I believe you may mean "rhythm.ogg".

Yes, Melody 1 was going to be the guitar track, and Melody 2 was going to be the keys. But how would I go to mix them into their tracks? This is where it confuses me. The Guitar track is already finished.

If I know what you are saying, top menu Song > Track, then choose your track
Then File Load OGG to load a different stem.
