So? I didn't copy anything. This is a custom chart and you can notice it because its different. I just wanted to make a version for Phase Shift because it's free.

Sir, You should read a bit the forums before postings anything. Yes, your chart is different, a fat lot of good that'll do. But on the one hand, you don't have the stems of the song, and on the other hand, I don't think that this band is ready to give the stems for free, as they must have been well paid to get twice in GH games.

Yes, but this is just the .mid file. It means you can't do anything if you haven't bought the song.

That song isn't legal to distribute for free, and this forum's owners are free to set the rules as they see fit. You will have to follow that rule to post download links to charts.

midi only is fine for normal songs as long as it is a real custom and not a rip
To give some further insight as to why this is a different situation to general song distribution.
The rules while set to follow common laws, goes a step beyond that and really focus around trying to respect the artists themselves along with the laws that support them.
it would seem hypocritical to create a project focused around music to then promote taking a dump over all the artists that make it worth playing in the first place.
The midi itself is not content made by someone else (when not a rip), and can be used in conjunction with legally purchased songs.
Distribution of the midi does not take away from any official product that could lead to reduced sales. If anything should help to promote sales of the song if you don't have the song and want to enjoy the chart legally.
As it remains respectful to the artists and doesn't break any laws, it should still be in line with the rules we have in place.
