Yeaah! how i didn't see before ;D. This is the best mod ever of rock band, do you think is possible to make some similar effect like the broken glass notes effect when you hit a note. I know that is a difficult improvement, but it'll be amazing.

Is there anyway we can get video backgrounds with more quality? the ones posted on youtube with the 4.1 version are all skippy and look like 640*480.

i know they are far from good, but i would have to make them from scratch and right now i dont have a good video editor for that.

well if you wanna give it a try, i used HD performance mode videos from youtube, you can download them with JDownloader.
Here are a couple:
Basically what you would have to do is remove singer close ups (whenever hes singing) and also remove drummer long shots so the rhythm missmatch isnt that obvious... also they should be 720p.

Hey this theme is amazing but I can't seem to get the necks and video background to work? the avi for the menu is there but it's static. Also the necks, and notes look the same from without the theme. Any help?

did you follow the instructions in the readme.txt? also you must restart the game after selecting the rb2 theme for some changes to apply.

Yes I did. I just have trouble with video backgrounds like in the menu and when I am playing songs. I also downloaded HD videos from the link to use for the theme, how do I use those and what folder do they go in? do they need to be converted?

you put the videos in Phase Shift\data\backgrounds\video
In game options make sure background is set to VIDEO and menu video background is set to ENABLED.

I'm sorry to be posting on this extremely outdated thread, but I've got a problem with this theme.
I'm getting stuttering whilst playing PS using this theme, and I'm not sure what may be causing this, I've set "Prefer Maximum Performance" on Nvidia Control Panel, tried with lower resolutions and less AA and nothing works. It happens mostly on the fretboard.

you could try reducing the size of any large textures to see if that helps, the default theme textures are all on the safe side to keep memory usage down
when it comes to stutter its worth considering the game is sensitive to background tasks, especially when using a multimonitor setup, if you do have more than one monitor any application that have visual updates should stay on the primary monitor for best results, something like an unanswered skype chat windows can cause issues while it does its blinking notifications on the window
