yea, I dont know if this is in anyway a decent game mode, but I'll explain my random thought and see what you guys think... ok, so basically, you all start off with normal sized boards, and once you miss a note it shrinks slightly, so the goal is obviously to keep the biggest board like i said.. weird concept... possibly useable/enhancable thoughts?

So the board gets smaller as you keep messing up? I feel some eyesores coming on here haha. It'd make for a funny challenge mode.

Or for a competitive mode, the person who is winning has their board shrink as a handicap.

sounds quite funny, was actually looking into modes that would make the whammy more useful, as its rarely used in normal play but with shrinking boards u could have the whammy as a pump that can inflate your board back up

maybe so but keep in mind that whammy bars break really easily and especially when overused.. at least in my experience with older guitars (i am not sure if newer guitars still have that problem but i think it's pretty probable)

if your going to abuse your whammy bar maybe you don't deserve an inflated board

What about for drummers? We don't have whammy bars!

What about for drummers? We don't have whammy bars! uhhh.... drummers can spaz the hell out and get bigger that way... yea! on a serious not, you could make game modes for specific instruments though, I don't know how for or against you guys would be for that.

drummers can get tilt sensors inside the drum sticks and you'll have to twirl them to inflate

i have a idea is a Full Combo Mode(Only Use VS Mode or last standing Mode) if you missing a note and then have only 3 times to continue play, then if u miss note 3 times and you must be FAILED,and other player is WIN.

we have 2 modes planned that are similar to this but didn't want it to be so extreme
5 misses and your out
3 combo breaks and your out, with missed notes causing time penalties - so if you reach a hard part of a song and 3 notes fly past it isn't instant death, but the longer it takes for you to recover the more time penality you'll face
wonder if its worth also having a proper fc mode so people trying to fc a song don't have to manually reset every time they screw up
