hello every one. i am new to the forums and i have been looking for some insight on choosing a guitar controller. i was thinking of a rock band or a logitech controller. im just wondering before i buy one that will not work, which controllers are compatible for phase shift and which ones are a bit buggy or unusable. thank you for your time.

An Xbox controller would be ideal, since they work in Windows without any weird software, Microsoft offers drivers for them.

well the RB3 xbox 360 controller looks beautiful, it may be a bit overkill though.
heres my suggestions
Rockband guitars tend to be less responsive (I dont know about the RB3 one.. though I really want it!)
Guitar hero controllers.. I honestly cant say i have much of a complaint other then over years of mashign the strumbar gave on my GH2 strato and my GHWT gibs, that issue may or may not be in the GH5/GH6 guitar models
if you dont want the trade off then you can try the RB3 one which i have no clue how durable/responsive it is, but considering how much money was invested in it I have hope in it being a beautiful controller
in summery:
RB controllers = durability
GH controllers = quality
RB3 classic controller = a gamble
3rd party controllers = big gamble
