Using Crossover Games for Mac OS X, I make a WinXP bottle with DirectX9 and all versions of Visual C++ runtime installed. When I open Phase Shift, I get this error: C Run-Time Error R6034I would like to see, in the future, for this game to either be built and redistributed for more than one operating system, or be able to be run on an OS that supports virtual emulators like Wine. If this was possible before, then I hope not to be begged at to switch-over for any reason whatsoever. Attachments:

Sorry dude. Because of the way the game is coded and the certain libraries that are required, and the dependency on DirectX, we will most likely not see a Phase Shift distrobution on Mac OSX and Linux.

there have never been any plans to port PS to other OS's, though the dev sted that when they have done everything they want to they may release the source code, which would allow people to make a port.

I made an account just to verify this...
He isn't asking for Phase Shift use on Mac OS X, he is wondering if they can make it usable for a virtual machine... If you were to open Xp in virtual box or something, the same error which he had would probably be produced.
