im not sure of the specifics of rights to use ASIO, but if you guys can add ASIO support to PS you could eliminate the need for an audio calibaration, though thats not my main reason for suggesting this be implemented. i have GHWT, and I notice one thing that drives me nuts with the vocals, there is a massive delay time between when you sing and when you hear yourself and it completely screws me and a lot of people that tried to play on my system up, adding support for ASIO should completely remove that issue.

calibration is mostly only required when running through external processing hardware such as your tv, asio only effects internal pc latency which is already minimal so while it would reduce latency slightly it would not eliminate the need for calibration in any situation where it is really needed
it can be noted for something to look into but it is highly unlikely

well, i was getting more into being able to play vocals without having the delay of your own voice, GH WT had that problem and its a massive turn off for vocals.

i would hope any ghwt issues in this area are not refective of how well the system can run when used properly and is just down to the fact it is a poorly made port

Well, I hope thats the case, I always thought that was just a PC limitation because every karaoke type of program has that delay.

I would really love to see Asio support as well. On most setups the normal windows audio drivers will have at least 60ms delay. With Asio drivers this is reduced to less than 10ms. That's why Asio support is standard in most audio software. It would improve Phase Shift tremendously.
