Ok, then this is what bugs me, if your not a coder, then why do you think you can say stuff like "yes, but it shouldn't be harder than when u generated pro guitar" unless you know how to code and could easily add pro keys to this game if given the chance, then you really have no room for comments like that =/

The 360 Keyboard is fully supported in this game. All keys have been decoded correctly and some are mapped and in use in the Basic Keys Mode. The reason Real Keys is taking a while is we still haven't worked out a decent way of representing it on the board. We don't like the RB3 method and it's limitations and untill we are convinced that it's the best/only decent way of doing it we'll keep thinking on it.
Thanks David

For the sake of screen space, it might be the only effective way to do it for multiplayer. For solo player mode, it may be worth considering presenting it like Synthesia, where the entire usable keyboard is displayed all at once.

not a fan of their scroll the rainbow system, that is where alternative ideas would help see this mode move forward

Maybe they could just show one entire octave at a time, but the keys would be color coded for octave. The tricky part would be to make octave chords easy to identify, they'd probably have to have a note that was half one color, half another. Or this could be a good way to force people to learn how to play chords, you could have a chord name drop down in just in the lane for the lowest used note in the chord?

I don't know how you guys would like to do the visual representation of pro-keys, but the way that Harmonix presents it is decent enough. I have no problems about that.
What I would like to see is chord numbering on the side of the pro-keys board, just like in pro-guitar.

i'm not a huge fan of synthesia, but it's an option, as long as its not a straight drop from the top of the screen to the bottom, preferably angeled like other instruments. we could have all 25 keys on view, but all color coded and of course, 25 keys will look better than synthesia's frickin' 100 key thing BTW it should look something like this, but at an angle Attachments:

I think the idea that sonicfan has is cool, and it might work.
I'm no photoshop guru, but I have a proposition. C4 is blue. The key should have a white halo, but have a blue fill. C#4 is blue as well. This key should have a black halo, and have a blue fill.
Do you folks catch my drift? Or do I have to spend a few hours in paint to show you guys?

You could say that. The white keys have a white/light outline, and the sharp/flat keys have a black/dark outline.
