David, I asked because I never came across it in use while adding support for Phase Shift customs to my media player. I went ahead and added support for it, but I asked a Phase Shift player friend to test and he reported it wasn't "working" - I don't know if maybe he needs a sorting option that is not on by default or if the feature isn't working. Regardless, this was the first time I heard about this feature so none of the 1000+ C3 conversions to Phase Shift to date have track numbers in the song.ini but future songs will after I update our tool. Maybe take a look at why it's not working for some users?

I can confirm the track sorting works fine. Whoever is providing you this info is not sorting it right.
In game you must change "List Sorting" and change it to "Album". Phase Shift will then sort them with the "track = X" tag.

Hey bud. How come nobody mentioned this missing feature for the Phase Shift Converter then? I've informed him and like I said, update to the tools will add that. cPlayer already supports it.

To be honest I thought the track number was part of the FOF standard and not something we added specifically for Phase Shift so I never mentioned it in our standard.
Thanks David

May be, it wasn't mentioned in the OP, which I relied on to make sure I would support all I could. But it's in the change log for v1.18, so I guess that's when it was patched in? Oh well, if it works, it works. Maybe there just needs to be more awareness that it does work.

Would it be possible to have split audio for Real Keys? Say keys_1.ogg for Right Hand and keys_2.ogg for Left Hand? And playing either Keys or Adv Keys will use both.

It would be cool for a audio track for rhythm guitar as well.

I had added this when I first implemented Real Keys. But I figured it would be quite rare to have them separated so I disabled it. Thanks David

for how long do they have to ignore you/say no until you understand that they won't do it? same with whammy bar and encryption. it isn't more likely to happen if you keep bugging them about it

theres nothing wrong with it but it is really annoying reading the same suggestions by the same person like 1 million times. one time is enough. if they had wanted to add it, they would have added it already.

Updated Sysex phrase ID's to reflect EOF additions after discussions with Raynebc. Extended Guitar Notation. Simultaneous Cymbal + TOM hits for Real Drums. My my... somebody's been busy. Theme makers are going to have a field day with the new Extended Guitar Notation. I wonder if this means we'll get the option of horizontal highways a-la BandFuse... Is there any possibility of these Cymbal + Tom hits making their way to Advanced Drums? NOPE. NVM. Just reviewed the MIDI standard in my head and that just wouldn't fly too well with 4/5 lane drums. I'm looking forward to it nonetheless.
