Hello Everyone,
I have been a FOFix player for a long time and have come across Phase Shift. I have always preferred the setup and game play of Guitar Hero over Rock Band and Phase Shift looks like it supports 5 and 7 lane drum charts. I am elated I think this is fantastic. I havent downloaded the game yet because I have some questions. How well does Phase shift compare to the gameplay of guitar hero. I can have great accuracy scores on Guitar Hero games but when I play FOFix my accuracy is a lot less and they are the exact same charts. I know that when there are alot of fast chords FOFix doesnt really see the player change to the next chord as well as GH does. how is phase shift with this?

Phase shift is much better in accuracy then fof, mostly because of the fact that PS has a calibration system which foFix STILL lacks, the game is generally smooth, i have had no issues changing chords fast either, i suggest you try it out, im certain you'll wanna keep it.

Phase Shift has it's quirks (supports only windows machines is it's main fault), but sometimes you just need to compromise things for something that works better than what you have already.
I love how well the development of both FoFiX and Phase Shift are going, and I also love how they are purposely made to be (more or less) compatible with each other.

Yes Indeed Phase Shift does rock!!! I cant beleive I got along without it for so long. I am so happy about the 5 lane drums. With the way I chart my songs I now have the ability of 4 drums and 4 cymbals with rockband giving the limitation of 4 drums and only 3 cymbals. The game is so smooth too. Im really looking into how difficult it will be to customize themes. I have done this quite a bit with FOFIX but I am a phase shift player now and will stay one.

I came across PS by accident..(it was mentioned in someones post on the FOFIX Forums ) ;D
I downloaded it, set up guitar and drum controller via Ms wireless receiver for pc
and Boy is it smooth or what. ;D........very well done to all who built this software,  it has become my go to software for customs, and for playing,
Fofix is still choppy on my big rig, PS is smooth as silk, i enjoyed using it so much ,that i also downloaded (again ) Reaper, EOF, and the RBN Tools for Charting,
and proceeded to chart an opeth song (a fair judgement ) as i couldnt find it anywhere, beat synced it, did guitar and drums, tested last night, and now have a huge grin on my face.....
Thanks to all again who are responsible for Phase Shift , an excellent piece
of software,
ps...if it ever goes to market, i will gladly pay good money for it.....

ph/rb/gh/fof are all good but if i had to choose only one it would be ps but if i had to choose 2it would be ps/gh
and ass of for 3 it would be all except fof i hate it but i like the mods that are for it and im wondering if the game gets updated can it have gems that are like gh5 and up those are awesome coding colors

Activision OWNS the GH style notes, Phase Shift is not LEGALLY allowed to use them, Phase shift cannot use any of the GH/RB/BH graphics.
