i hav a few ideas to make phaseshift funner and less complicated. The HOPO phrases often make the rest of the song into slider notes, so i guess we should just remove the slider notes for good. also, in drumming, we need 4 lane drums, but with the sustains found in guitar hero games.(look at Beast and the Harlot, u'll know what i'm talking about). we also need GOOD vocals and harmonies, idk if u guys are working on them.
if the removal of slider notes is not possible, y don't u make another pitch the slider trigger, like #107, since it's purple and unused. and also we need hammer on chords like in rock band
again, these are just suggestions that i hope u keep in mind, and these are already discussed then sorry.
oh btw, keep the force hammerons on, just remove the slider notes, we don't really need those

sliders issue id the result of a standard change between GH WT and some other games, voacals/harmonies are planned and being worked on soon, hammer on chords are either already added or being worked on, and extended sustains are already supported.

Forced HO/PO have been available since God Knows When (check the log?), this includes chords. Slide notes are probably never going to be implemented because in GH5+, they (Activision) dropped support for them. We now have tap notes only.
As a bonus question to bestsonicfanever, are you playing RB3 charts?

yes i am, so how do u avoid tap notes? i heard there is an event or velocity or something, and how do make hammer on chords, they only show up as tap notes
and i meant long notes for the drums, i hate charting every cymbal hit on a sizzle
Can u do me a favor and keep the 7 lane pro mode, i like having lanes for cymbals

If you have all 83 songs... God save you. Long drum notes (I'm assuming you're talking about the drum notes with tails) are called "swells" in the GH franchise. I'm not too sure if PhaseShift or EOF supports this yet. To finish this off, I don't think the devs are going to get rid of the 7 lane pro drums any time soon. ;D I WOULD like to see 4 lane pro drums as an option though, just like legacy drums have a 4 lane/5 lane option.

thank you, but how about removing sliders from guitar hero songs like for gh metallica or gh smash hits?

i don't think phase shift supports those, and besides, i use reaper and i'm trying NOT to chart the swells, i don't mind charting all the hits, just not the swells

download EOF, and import the chart... then just find the notes and make them "force HOPO" notes... i think that should work...

like i said, no matter what some end up showing up as tap notes, and i don't like EOF, i use Reaper

I don't know what the problem is. As far as I know, EOF writes forced hammer on correctly (with a phrase of 1 MIDI note higher than lane 5).
