this has existed for a while, it got fixed with a random update (i forgot which one) and then it broke again with the next update and has been like this since then, I have made sure its not the filter.

OK, can you pick any song for testing but make sure there is no phaseshift.dat in the songs folder. If there is delete it or move it out if you want to keep your scores.
First Download/Extract a fresh version of the game and extract it on your normal Hard Drive. Don't touch any game settings leaving them all at default just set the music path (making sure your song folder is also not on a RAM Drive)
Now play the song making sure you're not in Debug, No fail, Drunk or Practice Mode. Once you've done that check to see if it's saved the scores. If not then Check to see if it's generated the phaseshift.dat file in the songs directory.

no luck, it changed nothing, it does created a phaseshift.dat though contents 0[Data_Type]
