I recently installed Phase Shift on a new laptop, but I only get the background image and the music playing upon starting the game. I can seemingly choose options like quickplay (based on the preview audio changing), but there are no words or images on any menu. My laptop has Windows 11, Intel® Core™ i5-1240P, NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3050 with 4 GB. My drivers are up to date and the other threads on this issue talk about AMD which is not what I have. Does anyone have a fix or a suggestion?

I am probably experiencing the same issue. Brand new computer, brand new install of Phase Shift with no old info from previous setup. Somewhere along the way, seems something with Windows or DirectX updated. I am on an AMD Ryzen 5 7600, ASRock Radeon RX 6800 XT Phantom Gaming 16GB card Windows 10 with all updates. Game starts, looks like it is about to show the menu, music starts playing, no menu. No feedback or noises that something is being selected from the menu.

Looks like I was away for too long from this game. Looks like support has ended. Even the community has moved on. For those who still want to stay on Phase Shift with the features it has, and experience the same problem, it might be worth going to the DXVK github, download the latest release and put the 32bit dlls into the Phase Shift folder. That has worked for me. I am playing this one again. If YARG allows for further customization and "career" mode, I'll switch to it.
