Hi everybody,
I'm French, so sorry for my bad english !
I use an Alesis Stike Pro (setup as normal) and I don't succes to setup my triggers. Connect to PC (midi) with an USB Cable.
No problem with the bass drum, snare and toms, but I have with my cymbal in Phase Shift. I say "in phase shift" because there is apparently no problem when I play with the module, the sound is good and no random trigger.
I setup the retrigger, the sensitivity (in the Alesis module), but impossible to play perfectly, randomly the cymbal make 2 or 3 quick hit when I hit 1 time or sometimes don't trigger when I hit. It's not a problem of XTALK RCV or XTALK SEND, because the cymbal is not trigger by an other. The retrigger is (for me) the point to setup (This is the minimum amount of time needed between successive strikes of the same trigger for the second one to produce a sound.) It works well, when I put the value down, there is a lot of ghost triggers (I hit 1 time, and in Phase Shit it's play 3 or 4 time quickly). But when I put to 61 (of 99) I can't make quick quaver (only half is recognize), and when I put to 60 (the setting I use) there is random additional hit when I hit 1 time, there is a big gap beetween 60 and 61.
Has anybody an Alesis Strike Pro, setup for Phase Shift ? And can give me his setting? Because I see videos on Youtube of Alesis Strike Pro with Phase Shit and there is apparently no problem

I am having the same issue. So following for a possible solution or workaround as well.
I am not getting any xtalk and have correctly tuned thresholds. The reason, I suspect, is because the module is intended for cymbals with multiple zones. This is causing the ghost notes. I even tried multiple custom midi profiles.
Using the midi monitor and display on the Strike module I can see that my cymbal bell and bow are essentially conflicting and causing the ghost notes. Essentially one hit causes 2 triggers (bow & bell) to the cymbals on the MIDI receiving end which isn't getting digested well by Phase Shift.
I even tried making them the same MIDI note ID on the Strike Pro module (Voice-->FX/MIDI-->Midi Note). Seems no amount of playing around was able to work.
