I''ve been using Alesis Debut Midi drums to play phase shift for the past month and everything's been great after I got my initial midi profile setup. I'm playing advanced 7 lane drums, but the last few days I've come to realize that my green tom and blue tom will often trigger my green cymbal. I suspect this is a sensitivity issue and that the vibrations when I hit the toms is what's triggering my cymbal. From what I could find on google most midi drum kits have adjustable threshold on the drum module, but I don't think that's the case with Alesis Debut. Then I remembered the velocity value in the midi profile, and tried to adjust it upwards until my toms wouldn't trigger my cymbal anymore, I have to go as high as 60 before the toms stops. But it doesn't seem to work as I intended, if i play several hits on my green cymbal it stops registering after a couple of hits not matter how hard I hit it and only starts reacting again after I've hit another drum, and then only for a couple of input again. Anyone smarter than I got some potential solutions to my problem? My midi profile looks like this:
<NAME>Seven Lane Drums Midi Profile</NAME> <DESCRIPTION>Generated using Phase Shift Midi Profiler by djlastnight</DESCRIPTION> <TYPE>0</TYPE> <BUTTONS> <RED>38,9,0</RED> <YELLOW_TOM>48,9,0</YELLOW_TOM> <BLUE_TOM>45,9,0</BLUE_TOM> <GREEN_TOM>43,9,0</GREEN_TOM> <YELLOW>46,9,0</YELLOW> <GREEN>49,9,60</GREEN> <BLUE>51,9,0</BLUE> <BASS>36,9,0</BASS> <BASS>44,9,0</BASS>

What I would look for on your drum module is crosstalk suppression. Most modules have this feature, a quick look thru your user manual should tell you how to get in and set it up.
