I'd like to share my midi_profile.ini file. It took a lot of effort scavenging info off this forum to figure out the details.
I've been playing Phase Shift for quite some time on the kid's €150 edrum kit and decided to upgrade. After months of research I figured out that except for Roland and Yamaha and couple of others there were dozens of brands that were all OEM of Chinese manufacturer called Medeli and the winner was Millienium 850 at around €600.

TYPE :
0 = drums
1 = guitar
2 = gamepad
3 = PC keyboard (auto midi-link)
4 = keys
5 = drums real
6 = guitar real
7 = dance pad
METHOD :
1 = normal/default
2 = sysex
3 = CC#4 Hi-Hat
Edrums with pedal Hi-Hat accelerometer produce CC#4 + other MIDI messages.
With METHOD=3, only normal/rim Yellow MIDI message(s) need to be defined.
Phase Shift remembers the last CC#4 hi-hat pedal velocity message.
Hi-Hat messages that follow will be interpreted as Yellow_C/O/P/S depending on:
- Open (0-79 velocity) - no visual cue in-game
- Sizzle (80-120 velocity) - red visual cue in-game
- Closed (121-127 velocity) - green visual cue in-game
* Velocity 127 plays a closed hi-hat, even if you do not hit the pad.
