How does one do it? For example, say I have an open hihat and high tom that need to be played on the same beat.
Worth mentioning: I'm charting this for pro/real drums, so moving the open hihat to green/ride or moving the high tom to mid/blue isn't really an option for me.
If it's not possible in EOF, is it possible in Reaper? I haven't used the tool since there's not much documentation on it, but I wouldn't mind spending some time learning it if I knew it was the only way to do what I needed to do.

If you are authoring in the "PART REAL_DRUMS_PS" track, you can apply a special status to yellow, blue or green cymbal notes that identify them as being BOTH a tom and a cymbal of that color. You can do this by using the "Toggle cymbal+tom" function to affect selected cymbal notes. When a note is marked as a cymbal+tom note this way, it will draw in the 2D and 3D panels as a cymbal note with a black hole.

The song standards advancement list on the forum doesn't show that Phase Shift supports this feature yet. Was it still going to be added?

It's on my todo list but I think there were some complications with how our system handles things like this. Also some of the RB instruments have this limitation so it will be a MIDI only thing.
Does EOF write only the sysex message or normal notes too? Thanks David

I believe it writes the note as a cymbal, and writes the Sysex marker to cover the note.
