When you use a controller that is profiled, do you have to use a keyboard to say type in an IP address / password or create a Profile name, or do you still require a keyboard?
If you require a keyboard, then I suggest that you make the ability to be keyboard free, and please just use the main buttons that are required to play the game. GRYBO + strum. Not every guitar has a directional pad, so things like ranking the songs on the setlist, please allow us to rank them using something like Blue and Orange for left and right.
This is sorta a big deal for anybody who plays on a TV, because they may not always have a keyboard hooked up to the computer.
Thanks!

a controller system for keyboard input is something we will look into eventually but most important things you need to type are one off tasks and something you would do on a keyboard, for network games really we need to put in an address book / favourites system for easier controller selection
the ranking feature it was put on the directional pad for a reason, because its a non essential funtion, we have the core keys reserved for other things, if you want to use a dodgy controller then you have to accept it will have limitations with certain functionality and its better to be something like ranking
if we end up dropping features and find we have spare keys then we may look to reshuffle but if you want to get the most out the game you'll need a suitable controller, failing that use a wireless control pad wireless keyboard or usb extension on the keyboard, there are plenty of solutions really
