Anything EOF doesn't allow in the normal drum mode that it allows in the Phase Shift drum track would be because the game only allows it in the latter.

Another question I had about EOF - is there a way (in regular 5lane mode) to input a message at a certain time? Something like the 1 in remaining or 30 seconds remaining messages? Actually, at a certain note would be perfect.

A message for display in-game? I don't think Phase Shift supports that. Maybe you could author it as a lyric in the vocal track or something.

Actually, at a certain note would be perfect. Phase Shift does support this, actually. But, it's theme-based. You'll have to go into the game's files to find out how. See the Guitar Hero Metallica theme for the codes. I wish I could be more help, but I don't know which files to look in.

The thought was to have a message pop up that said something like "ride bell here" just to indicate that string of oranges is ride bell, something like that. How would EOF know which theme you're using though?

How would EOF know which theme you're using though? I may have misunderstood, then. EoF doesn't have themes (that I know of). I thought you meant in Phase Shift, after you finished the song. In EoF, doing that, as I recall, is not doable just yet, if even at all.

If somebody provides enough details, that could possibly change. However it would have to be limited to something in the chart files, because designing any kind of Phase Shift theme elements is outside of EOF's purpose.

This is more of a general question but I guess I figured I'd rather not clog things up with another thread but just ask it here, especially in case it has to do with the color changing I've done with my theme.
I'm working on a song right now (lie lie lie) and I can't seem to get the very center-most (4th from left) cymbal on real-drums mode to show up. In EOF, the option for 'toggle blue cymbal' should make the larger blue one activate right? In EOF, if I have a blue note (depicted as a circle) it comes down the track on the 5th-from-left rail, and if I have a blue note toggled as a blue cymbal (depicted as a blue triangle) it still comes down the 5th-from-left rail. Shouldn't a toggled blued cymbal come down the 4th-from-left rail? If not, what do I select to get them to come down the center most (4th from left) rail?

As a test, if you import the chart's MIDI file back into EOF and the affected note is displayed as a cymbal, the issue likely isn't with EOF.
