A thought occurred as I was authoring a keyboard part with a lot of really fast trills:
On a typical modern keyboard, you can set the sound to "Mono", meaning that only one tone can come out of the instrument at any given time, allowing keyboardists to go insane with trills and just typically fast runs without accidentally playing a 'chord' sound. I guess in more rhythm gamey terms, it lets the keyboardist anchor a note and then play the rest as "hammer ons" or "pull offs" in a sense.
It'd be really cool if Phase Shift could somehow implement this in the future as a possible "lane", similar to trill or tremolo lanes. I imagine it might be an easier thing to do since perhaps it'd use some kind of modification of the hammer on/slider note code from the Guitar side? I feel like it'd be a great unique addition.
Here's a video explaining it on a real keyboard better than I ever could with just text:

If they do this then they better also make normal keys things that can do the same type of thing.

Oh that's what I meant, not pro keys or advanced keys or anything like that, I meant as a standard 5-lane keys type thing. (Though it'd have to be done on both I presume)
