Hi, github.com/nalbachk/MidiToPhaseShiftcurrently I am writing a MidiToPhaseShift Converter. That means: - you can convert normal midi files to eof format - import in eof editor and move the notes to songStart and some bpm fine tuning I tested it with Ensiferum and Equilibrium. Drums works already very well. In the net weeks I will add RealGuitar and put the mapping in a config-file. Greetings

Interesting. The drums may be one thing, but I'd think real guitar/bass would be pretty tricky, unless they encoded each string on a different channel or something, since the same note can be played in several places on the fretboard.

This could be really cool for somewhat realtime charting.
Grab your MIDI drums and record it in your favorite DAW, set up the wrapper and you're golden.

Hi vandorb12, nice idea - yes thats an other possible use. Hi raynebc, currently I am working on real_guitar_6_String, real_bass_4_String, real_bass_5_String and real_bass_6_String support. You are right -> one midi note can be places on multiple positions. Therefore I added 2 Solutions: - the mapping is now configurable in an xml file (not very comfortable but works if the position is the same for the whole song)
- for each song you can put an additional .txt file with fret mapping (also load from sites like webtabplayer) (see equilibrium met)
If this file exists, the converter prefers the position from .txt file. This works already but I need to test it with more files in the next days. Greetings

Hiho,
drums_adv, real_guitar_6_String, real_bass_4_String, real_bass_5_String and real_bass_6_String works now !!!
I tested it with some files and it works already well - i uploaded them into "songs" folder -> you can check it. Next days i will add some more tests, because midi files can have crazy things.
Greetings
