I think this game is great, just needs some friendlier modability. That's really what a lot of people (especially myself) are after. When Acedia was working with Rockfan, he had a series of 'tools' he was making for the game to aid in modding. Among one of them is a Menu Builder.
Here's a video of what it's like.
With drag and drop, how can you fail? There would be lots of menu mods, I can't even begin to think of the potential mods with it. There would be a bunch of simple commands (buttons) to build the menu.
Ex: click "Menu Next Button" or "Practice Menu Button", Select the graphic you want, and it appears on a blank screen where you can drag, drop, scale, size it to how you want. At the end, you click save and it exports the end menu system. __________________________________________________
I would also like to see a stage builder, or some kind of stage sandbox. This would be a HUGE feature, where you import models, drag/drop, place, and save a stage ready to run ingame. I couldn't imagine this ever being put into a game, but it would be an insanely awesome feature that none of the console games have thought about. I'd donate every model I've ever made to this idea and would model LOADS of stuff for this.
I know anything like this is probably too much to ask for, but do consider!

I'm not a huge fan of seperate editors unless they are really needed. I'd rather just use something like 3DS max and make a couple of plugins to make it a little easier. You could end up spending more time on the editor than the game.
