Is there a way to easily combine a normal version of a song with the 2x bass pedal so that the 2x bass pedal notes are the expert + notes? If not, could you make that a thing?
Like, for instance, you select a midi and there's an option somewhere to combine 2x bass pedal, and you select the 2x bass pedal midi, then it compares the midis and if they're the same then adds the kick notes that are in the 2x bass pedal version (and aren't in the normal version) to the normal version?
And also a way to separate the Expert+ charts to the normal and 2x bass pedal versions

EOF creates an expert+.mid file during save if the project has any double bass notes. The expert drum track of this MIDI file will contain both the single and double bass notes in normal FoF/RB style notation for use in those games. The regular notes.mid file contains the double bass notes in Phase Shift's notation (MIDI note 95), which I think FoF/FoFiX would probably ignore but Rock Band may have problems with.
The other option would involve the "Track>Disable expert+ bass drum" option, which will suppress the double bass notes from the MIDI files during save. This way you could author the complete drum track with double bass notes, save it to get the MIDI with the 2x bass drum track, use the option to disable the expert+ notes and then save again to get the MIDI with a single bass drum track.

Well that's all fine and cool, but it doesn't really solve the "issue" per se of what I want to do. The main idea I wanted was that I have 2 versions of a song, a single bass pedal and a 2x bass pedal. I want to know if there is a way/you could add an option of some sort to add the bass notes that are in the 2x bass pedal version and compare it to the single pedal version, and any bass notes that are in the 2x bass pedal version but not in the single pedal version would be "added" to the single pedal version as expert+ notes.

You can open two instances of EOF, open the single bass in one, the double bass in the other, select all of the double bass notes in the latter EOF instance, paste it into the PS drum track in the former EOF instance, enable the secondary piano roll and get it so that one drum track is on the top half of EOF and the other drum track is on the bottom. You can then scroll through the chart to compare the two. For combining, you could probably try copy/paste, selecting one double bass note and using select like to get the others. Just make sure the preference to erase overlapped pasted notes is unchecked. Seek to the spot where the first note needs to be pasted (you can seek by grid snap or any other means you want, keyboard shortcuts are listed in the Song>Seek menu). Then when you paste, the notes will merge with the existing ones in the target track difficulty.

I'm guessing this is something that's supposed to happen due t room and stuff, but when I enable the 2nd piano roll, Starpower and such become invisible, is there anyway that I can prevent this? I didn't realize it at first and ended up deleting the file that I redid, and as a result, I had to do it again.

You may have to enable the "Track>Phase Shift>Unshare drum phrasing" option, because by default, it will apply the regular drum track's star power, solos, etc. to the Phase Shift drum track.

nope, what I mean is no star power markers and such are visible. There aren't any grey sections to mark star power, but when I disable the 2nd piano roll and load it again, then they are there.
EDIT: Actually, looking back on the charts now, there isn't any star power anymore. Using the 2nd piano roll actually completely deletes all star power sections marked... O.O You really need to fix that.
EDIT 2: Not only that, it also apparently fully disables them and other special markers... I was comparing the start of a normal song and a 2x bass pedal, and the first notes of the 2x bass pedal (no 2nd piano roll) was a drum roll, but the first notes of the normal one (2nd piano roll enabled) was not, and when I tried to add the drum roll, it would flash on screen for about a frame then disappear.

It appears that only happens if the "unshare drum phrasing" option is not disabled before changing from one drum track to the other. I'll fix it, but for now it's easily avoidable by unsharing the phrasing before changing to the other drum track and pasting stuff into it.
