I know that the tempo being played directly correlates with the rate that star power diminishes, and in some songs, if I want to realistically make the time signature 7/8, I'd do it as 7/4, but doubled tempo, right?
Alright, so my question is, is there a way to have the time signature the way I want it, but cut the star power rate in half?
I apologize if this isn't clear, I wasn't sure how to word it, and I don't have any handy-dandy pictures to help clarify.

I don't know if Phase Shift takes the time signature into account for star power, maybe the PS devs could shed some light on this.

I can't remember how I handled this. Would be easier to just test it than me trying to work out what the code is doing. Thanks David

It's not so much that the time signature is the issue, it's that the tempo is effectively double what I want it to be to get the time signature correct, if that makes any sense. That's what's a little annoying, that the star power rate is directly related to the tempo, so in the songs that I've made, it goes away way too quickly, and was wondering if there's any way to manipulate the star power rate.

I don't remember hearing of a way to do that, although it would be a nice feature to be able to define how many measures a full star power charge lasts.

If one could, one could effectively make a Phase Shift last for an entire song. Although, that would be no less cheating than if one could make an entire song a solo. In conclusion, I am in favor if that idea!
