I don't know if this can be discussed here, but it seemed to be the the proper place. I have some GH and RB songs that are PS they are supposed to be like exact duplicates of the real material. Using the easy setting. I know in GH, the green, red and yellow buttons are used for charts. Is it supposed to be the same for RB? I have just been playing around with some PS RB songs and they follow this pattern to, but then some of the notes jump out to blue and orange buttons. Is that normal? I also noticed RB guitar charts are way easier to play and seem to move at a slower speed. I am guessing it is because the game is more about the whole band and not guitar. Easier to keep a beat going with less notes so the band functions correctly. If the easy setting RB songs are using the wrong notes, like blue and orange, can the be corrected in EOF? How would I know what to change them to? I have EOF, but very little experience using it. Thanks, I hope you can help with these questions.

Yes, it is normal, Rock Band was more about the difficulties being their namesake, but they also liked to have a big of accuracy, so they would occasionally branch out from the normal GRY buttons.
Yes, they can be changed, and there is not definitive note to change them to. That, is up to you. You can change them by opening EOF, going into File>Midi Import, then going to the directory of the song and opening the .mid, then finding the notes that you want to change. Then use those handy-dandy ears of yours and judge what you think the note should be changed to.
Just make sure to make a copy of the original so that if you play them in multiplayer then they will be function, you'll just have to play the one with the blue and orange (unless of course your playing with a friend and you send it to them).
