Unlike the PS2 version, all other console versions don't have full-length music video files on-disc.

i'm not sure about this. there is a tool that you can use to do it. Arktools 7: This program helps in making custom Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and Karaoke Revolution songs (the ones made my Harmonix). Some features/info about ArkTool: * Supports the games: Guitar Hero 1, Guitar Hero 2, Rockband, Karaoke Revolution. * Supports the systems: PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox360. * Allows the following access: Extract / Insert / Delete / Replace / Rename files and directories. * Does encryption/decryption on the fly while extracting and inserting encrypted files. This includes dtb fiels and song files from rockband (mogg/vgs/pss). * Has no limits such as file must already exist or be a certain size or smaller. .pss is the format of common videos. Did you tested this program in RB, RB2 xbox360? did you also try Novasoftware extractor?

Yeah, I looked. The only video files that are in today's generation console versions are Bink videos (BIK). All they have for that format are the intro, credits, menu backgrounds, and a short demo of "Let There Be Rock".

in other words, current consoles use fully animated 3d scenaries, there are no video bgs to extract.
If you really want to get HD videos you would have to look for performance mode videos in HD.

Ummm, what a deception... But you have given me an idea JD. basically get a recorder card and run your xbox 360 through it and record it HINT: to get the FC's you can normally play vocals and and put the mic up to the speaker and it will FC itself
