You might have seen a previous thread on this for a single song, but I think it's time for a band post. A little Southern California electric blues band that I work with called The Barebones has granted permission to release a few songs off of their (currently) unreleased album for us. We're just finished recording our first album and we are in the process of mixing, mastering, and creating album art stuffs. Here's a link to their YouTube page. Votes will be highly appreciated! www.youtube.com/user/thebarebonesband/videos?view=0I have multitracks for all the tracks except for the ones that were recorded from live sessions (like from The Whiskey-a-Go-Go and The Wire). If there's an older version of a song that you want us to re-record, we could do that.

"Fiasco" and "Go to Bed" are good. I hope "Deadbeat Blues" is still available.

Vandorb, any chance the band is still interested? I'd like to take a stab at Straitjacket, if possible.

We're (still) in process of recording a EP and/or a demo CD. With school, shows in Los Angeles (we're based in Orange County), work, and anime conventions, it gets hard to find some time to settle down and record music for a day. I do have stems of some unmastered Barebones music that will most likely be put into an album, but I don't think it would be wise for me to release them without the consent of the band first (even though they're really chill about this sort of thing).

Hey folks, just a quick update about the band.
We are going to be recording our first album next week at an actual recording establishment, unlike what we've been doing in Alex's dad garage full of exotic cars. We expect to record over the period of 2 days, and hope to get the album released sometime in September or October.
I'm going to try my best to lobby for stems so I can mix up some PS compatible tracks for charts. I'll also be working with Alex to make tabs for Real Guitar for a few select songs. I'll also try to chart and release some for Rocksmith (for those who play).

A free album anybody can download on Google Play, Bandcamp, etc. and play on Phase Shift and possibly Rocksmith!

The forums and the chat have been running a bit slow this week. Here's something to make things interesting. drive.google.com/file/d/0Bz-arRnJJkjMczJDaDE5bjVaUzA/edit?usp=sharingPlease note that this is a very rough cut. I'm still going though the mixing phase of all their tracks, as well as adding on more instruments to give more depth. The album should be released by the beginning of the new year and stems will be available for charting around the same time. ALSO! That's me on bass... pay me no mind for my epic suckatude... I was just goofing off and accidently left the track on during the audio bounce.

Wow. Has it been this long since I've updated this thread? The Barebones finally got an official bassist, and we actually released a demo! A DEMO! I know we had an album recorded, but the frontman didn't like it so much, therefore we never released it. I got permission from the band to release these songs for fair use on Phase Shift, so multis will be available as long as people agree to give credit to the band when they use the audio in their own projects. I'm going to take charge of all the charting, and plan to work closely with the band to get pro charts, as well as make Rocksmith 2014 customs. If your country has Google Play Music, you can download/purchase the demo here: play.google.com/store/music/album/The_Barebones_Nocturnal?id=B2szth24b2sxrdhfw2swizoq2vmSure, the demo is on Google Play, but I plan to give you folks alternate mixes that really makes the music shine. Honestly, the demo was rushed in post-production, and I want all of you to hear the best of The Barebones. Happy listening!
