On my Xplorer guitar, whenever I strum in any direction, it strums multiple times in that direction. I I strum up once, it would strum 2-3 times upward immediately and sometimes when I strum down once, it would strum 1-3 times downward immediately. This is more noticeable in Phase Shift but it happens in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock but not as much as Phase Shift.
Does anyone have a guide for me to fix the strum bar of my guitar controller? This is my second Xplorer controller that broke and they are now rare these days (and highly expensive on Amazon).

Xplorers are not rare: I find them all the time at my local thrift shop down the street. I got my last one for less than $15USD.
If it's strumming like that in multiple games, it has to be a hardware issue with the guitar. Grab a Torx screwdriver, crack that puppy open, and clean it until it sparkles brighter than the Chrysler building.
There should be plenty of tutorials on how to fix strumming issues on YouTube and Google.

It is a hardware problem with my controller. I can't find tutorials on how to fix a strum bar that strums multiple times in the same direction. The only tutorials I can find are how to fix a strum bar that recoils.
I got my second Xplorer at GameStop for $20 but I can't find anymore of them and they are my favorite (I had Xplorer's ever since I had GH3 for Xbox 360).

Ive succesfully fixed this problem on my WOR controller, though im bad at making tuts without pics, i can answer any question on how to fix it. my WOR is actually in need of fixing, if/when i decide to take it apart again, I might make a video of it as a tut for everyone else, if I remember right all controllers have the same strum switches in them
