the game can't send custom unknown content around as the game won't know what it is allowed (legally) to send
custom content is up to the users to manage

That wouldn't interfere with copyright stuff would it? If it did, can you make a totally separate program that runs in the background that can do something with this?

Again, this also infringes on copyright stuff. If you really want to share songs, the best way is to do stuff like this through a third party.

well.. a technical way around it is putting a disclaimer the users have to accept, but thats pretty much looping the system..

history has shown p2p networks have been held liable for the content users share over it, despite the system itself being perfectly legal, there are no loopholes
