Hi everyone, i think everyone knows this, but on any ps2 guitar, the whammy just acts as a strumm up, i think it's because it's being recognized as an analog going up. Anyway, is there anyway to fix this at all (im using a ps2 guitar on a twin usb adapter)
Thks a lot, sry for my bad english (argentinian) Sacha

you'd have to to try making a new control profile and remove the old one thats in the dl.ini

But if i do that... my whammy still acts as a strumm up, because the controller is made like that i think everyone that owns a ps2 guitar has this same problem

Are you saying that the Whammy and Strum shares the same axis?
Thanks David

I would think that if you use the Ctrl Profiler Corretly you should be able to do it still. However, if you can provide some info on exactly how the axis is divided to allow for both to use it I can create one manualy.
Thanks David

I can confirm that my ps2 guitar whammy was not working in the control profiler. But it was not mapped to strumming. It was not recognized as any axis/button etc. Using a Kramer Striker Wireless Receiver with my Twin USB Adapter. (in either port) I don't know where to send the Profile Information... it wasn't very clear so here it is.
<DEVICE> <NAME>Twin USB Vibration Gamepad</NAME> <VID>2064</VID> <PID>1</PID> <MAGICBUTTON>-1</MAGICBUTTON> <MAGICDATA>-1</MAGICDATA> <XROTCEN>0</XROTCEN> <GYROCUTOFF>99</GYROCUTOFF> <TYPE>1</TYPE> <BUTTONS> <GREEN>53,128,0</GREEN> <RED>49,128,0</RED> <YELLOW>48,128,0</YELLOW> <BLUE>50,128,0</BLUE> <ORANGE>51,128,0</ORANGE> <BACK>56,128,0</BACK> <START>57,128,0</START> <STRUMUP>4,0,32511</STRUMUP> <STRUMDOWN>4,65535,32511</STRUMDOWN> <YGYRO>52,128,0</YGYRO> </BUTTONS> </DEVICE>
Other Information, Port One Works With the Guitar but it is shared with the Keyboard. Port Two is Unrecognized, and Port one asks to be profiled, which I gave you above. Both Ports yield the same profile report. I don't know if you have to do something special with the adapter to split it in two. I Guess the "Easy" Way would be to support multiple keyboard guitars for the sole purpose of mapping the second guitar to keys on xpadder. But then again, I've done programming, and that kind of support may not be as easy as it sounds. Especially since you have to make enough to eat on. Any further questions don't hesitate to ask, love what your doing.

This is my World Tour "Wireless Controller for PS2" as what the guitar is named. No whammy bar, no neck slider support (also called solo pad), no control pad support. I think this may just be the adapter, but It needs to be profiled since it has a different magic button. <DEVICE> <NAME>Twin USB Vibration Gamepad</NAME> <VID>2064</VID> <PID>1</PID> <MAGICBUTTON>6</MAGICBUTTON> <MAGICDATA>-1</MAGICDATA> <XROTCEN>0</XROTCEN> <GYROCUTOFF>99</GYROCUTOFF> <TYPE>1</TYPE> <BUTTONS> <GREEN>53,128,0</GREEN> <RED>49,128,0</RED> <YELLOW>48,128,0</YELLOW> <BLUE>50,128,0</BLUE> <ORANGE>51,128,0</ORANGE> <BACK>56,128,0</BACK> <START>57,128,0</START> <STRUMUP>4,0,32511</STRUMUP> <STRUMDOWN>4,65535,32511</STRUMDOWN> <YGYRO>52,128,0</YGYRO> </BUTTONS> </DEVICE>

Edited my DL.ini and those two mappings work great. Well...sometimes I have to turn the second guitar off and on.
