You could feasibly chart drums in Feedback, but you'd have to get a MIDI by either running it through a .chart->MIDI converter, or you could import your finished .chart file into EOF, optionally add features that Feedback doesn't support (double bass, cymbals, drum fills, etc) and just save the chart in order to get a MIDI file. EOF will create all necessary files for the chart to play in Phase Shift, even converting your audio to OGG format if necessary.

I haven't used Feedback in ages, but it should be whichever lane outputs notes as values of 0 in the .chart file, ie (#= N 0 #). I'd imagine it would be where you'd expect to place notes for fret 1.

You should contact me. I have edited 100s of charts in feedback and it is my editor of choice. I do use EOF for the "Touch ups" but I can tell you how to chart in feedback for 4 and 5 lane drums.

I really like dB(feedback) more than EOF because of its graphical display. But EOF is definitely more advanced. If you wanted to work on charting drums, you could hook up your drum set to your pc, (easy if you have a usb hookup) and that way you could use your drum set to chart in eof without being so confused. Its just a thought. All you need is a free download of xpadder.
