I have just downloaded and extracted the game today and whenever I attempt to run the game (Phase Shift.exe) Norton will notify me it has deleted the file because it appears "suspicious" (it does not delete any of the other files that came with the download). I downloaded it off of the mirror site that the download page links to. I have tried opening the file several times, all to the same outcome. If this has happened to anyone else, or anyone knows why this may be happening, then any help would be greatly appreciated. It looks like a really cool game and I hope I can get this straightened out so I can get a chance to play it.

Phase shift contacts servers for version update checks during load. This behaviour can sometimes be mistaken for a virus. Most Virus protection programs should allow you to specify a file as 'safe' but I'm not sure exactly what you need to do for Norton. It should be quite simple though and maybe someone else here would have more info about it.
Thanks David

Thanks, I think I was able to get it to accept the file. Now it says a D3DX...dll is missing. Does that mean I need to install DirectX, because I'm not sure if it's already installed or not? Thanks again.
