Yellow crash cymbal keeps counting as hi-hat

I’m trying and have been trying for awhile now to set up my addition cymbal as the yellow crash. I have the Alesis surge mesh kit. When I try to set up the cymbal for crash I use the psmidiprofiler app to figure out the cymbals midi number and then I use that number on a working midi profile. It’ll look something like this
Yellow, 57,9,0
Yellow_C, ( these are filled in on the profile but it’s just more to type since I’m at work right now )
Yellow_O,
Yellow_P,
Yellow_S,
Yellow_Tom,

I’ve tried so many times and just can’t get it to work. It just keeps registering as a hi-hat note
