Hey everyone,
Just got a MIDI to USB adapter in today and I'm trying to set up real drums using PsMidiProfiler.
I have a Roland TD-8 with an FD-7 hi-hat controller, which should support CC4, but PsMidiProfiler only detects the foot pedal when it's fully pressed down (showing a value of around 120, and the icon is green). If I release the foot pedal, PsMidiProfiler still shows it as having the same value, instead of dropping to zero like I assume it's supposed to.
Am I doing something wrong?
EDIT: I see now that the value for CC4 updates when I hit the hi-hat, so we're good on that front. However, holding down the foot pedal and hitting the hi-hat sends MIDI note 42 instead of the regular MIDI note 46 when it's open, and this doesn't activate my Yellow cymbal in PsMidiProfiler.
I also tried using the non-CC4 option with the following configuration, but closed hi-hat notes in the game only worked if I didn't press the foot pedal, and pressing the foot pedal and hitting the hi-hat would activate the yellow note on the bottom of the lane, but it wouldn't actually break the note coming down the lane, if that makes sense.
