I've been trying to fix this for days now. I did a fresh windows install recently and was reinstalling Phase Shift and now it won't open. I was getting the MSVCR100.dll missing for a while, went through all the fixes for that, but now it still won't start with the 0xc000007b error. I've replicated all the troubleshooting I can find, downloading the prereqs from the dependencies folder, uninstall/reinstall all the c++ redists, installing both the 64 and 86 versions, installing the directx in the dependencies folder, installing directx 9 and onward manually, I CANNOT get the damn game to run.
If it matters, my specs are AMD Ryzen 5 5500, 16 GB ram, msi b550 tomahawk MB, Radeon RX 6700XT GPU, windows version 21H2. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I feel like I've tried what worked for everyone else but the game simply will not start on a pc that was running it just fine before the fresh install

There was an AMD bug for a long time. It is fixed in the steam version. It was also fixed in a small update called 1.27g. This does sound like a different issue though. You guys should check if your antivirus is stealing any files. Good luck.

I've also got the 0xc000007b error. Any ideas? I'll keep messing with things. Worked fine on my last computer. If I can't get this working are there any other good full band open source games like this one?
