Hey everyone! I've been working on a drum sniffer based on artman's guitar sniffer for XB1 guitars. I've got it working and have setup instructions here: github.com/Dunkalunk/guitarsniffer(I know it says guitarsniffer, that's just the project name, it's really for drums!) Here's the hangup: I can't figure out how to get drums and pro cymbals working correctly without using Xpadder (as mentioned in the instructions) which seems like it has a LITTLE more input lag and doesn't work very well for double bass... Hoping some of you more seasoned players can help me out with the device_list.ini setup. I've been using the PSCtrl profiler and I believe I've tried every combination of buttons in the <Cymbal> and <Tom> buttons and I just can't seem to get it to work. Cymbals are always what's hit, and never drums unless you select just regular drums and not pro. Let me know if you have any thoughts on that or just any feedback on the sniffer itself! - Dunkalunk

I would love to help, but I'm sitting here smugly in PS4-land. Forums are a bit dead here, so go to the unofficial Phase Shift Discord or hit up folks in Clone Hero for a wider audience. Heck, go to the dark side and go to the Frets on Fire forum.

How's the input lag in PS4 land? Haha jk - anyway, I'm mainly focused on the Clone Hero crowd, already in their Discord. Only playing Phase Shift for pro drums for now. Just trying to see if anyone has any more experience than I do with that device_list file since I just can't seem to find the right configuration. Still hope it helps someone play some customs with their XB1 drums though!

i've used guitar_sniffer before, but i can't seem to get drum sniffer open and i can't figure out what the problem is. i've been troubleshooting but i wanna be sure it's not because i'm using PDP drums so i don't waste my time with something i can't fix lmao. any advice?
UPDATE: i'm a dummy and didn't realize my drums weren't connected. new problem. i cannot connect my drums. they light up normally when plugged in through USB but everytime i try to connect with the adapter it cuts power as soon as it connects.

crabbage someone else mentioned having issues with the PDP drums as well. I don't have any so I can't test with. The only issues I had with the adapter was when I tried to switch which PC the adapter was connected to. If I just tried to plug in the adapter to another PC and turn on the drums, they would appear to sync and then shut off. What you have to do is plug in the adapter and start the sync process. Then turn on the drums and sync them to the adapter again. I know it's a long shot that that's the issue. It may just be PDP drums struggle connecting to the adapter unfortunately. If I ever get my hands on some I'll look into it.

Thank you so much for your development, this has been working great! My one question is I can't seem to be able to use it at the same time as guitar sniffer for my XB1 strat. The code seems to include the ability to select the next available vjoy ID, however if either guitar sniffer (gs) or drum sniffer( ds) are open, the other won't launch at all. Any ideas?
