I realize that PS hasn't been updated in forever, so I'm not holding my breath or anything, but I really do wish there was an option to specify the hit window in milliseconds. Just to be clear- I'm not talking about making the game easier like Drunk Mode, I'm talking about making it more accurate. I get where people are coming from with scores- it could be as simple as just disabling high scores or leaderboards for players who have modified the settings.
I play drums, and the way it is now if you play a moderate tempo song that has a 32nd note double stroke roll you can just be ridiculously sloppy. I'm not sure what the hit window actually is, but it feels like I can be off by as much as a 16th note and it still registers as a successful hit. This might seem pedantic, but if you hear a proper 32nd note roll and compare it to one where the drummer isn't playing the rebound correctly it's a night and day difference.
I don't really care so much about comparing my score to other people, I just like getting to the end of a song and knowing that my accuracy % is correct. Feels like a hollow victory "nailing" a difficult song and knowing damn well I screwed up in a few areas.

i thought there was a setting for this. There is not. The hit window is hard coded.
