I think a 10th neck angle that displays the game from a pure top down orthographic view and is zoomed in closer than neck angle 9 would be a great feature for general mod capability, many rhythm games use a 2D view like this rather than the GH/RB perspective so having that as an option would allow a lot more possibilities for different styles of custom themes.
I've been wanting to make a GuitarFreaks/DrummMania skin for example, and as far as I'm aware with current settings and theme tools there's no way to get the 2D look I'd need for that. Neck angle 9 is somewhat close enough, but it's still got a bit of perspective distortion to it and it's so high up from the neck that the game view is really small.
