Hi I recently got EOF and wanted to make a song, everything was fine until I wanted to make a couple of notes harder to hit. I wanted to create notes like in the begining of "Obsidian Shard - My Arrival, Orphanage" I placed the notes like so but when I tested them in phase shift I couldnt hit them, I tried making them hammer-ons and making them a crazy note (T) but it does not work, any ideas on what I did wrong and what I need to do to make it work?

I haven't tried this in a long time, does Phase Shift allow notes to overlap this way for guitar tracks? The video you used as an example seems to be a keys track.

Can you clarify what isn't working? It looks like the crazy notes function in-game the way we'd expect (they sustain over the other shorter notes).

OK, so the notes display correctly in-game, but they cannot be properly hit/scored by non-bot players? That would be an issue with Phase Shift instead of EOF.

Because if i myself play "welcome to the masquerade" or"my arrival,Orphanage" I can hit those notes without bots, but i cannot hit the notes on the song im trying to make.

I'm not sure what that indicates. The Phase Shift devs may need to look into this.

What controllers are you using? When was the last time you calibrated? Is your song synced up correctly?
EDIT
Technically, you're not following proper extended sustain rules with that chart. You can only set up extended sustains that are higher up on the neck than the first sustain. This only applies to guitar tracks, not to key tracks. That's why you're missing notes.

I didn't know Phase Shift had that requirement. I'll mention it in the EOF manual.

I didn't know Phase Shift had that requirement. I'll mention it in the EOF manual. That's what I noticed with one of my test charts and my playthroughs on some GH charts with extended sustains. I would still double check with David to make sure that's the intended behavior.

So i flipped my notes and now they work. thank you, I didnt know this was a rule as im a still new at this.
