Like, Alt + Shift + 7 then 8 to use a 7/8 time sig? Is it feasible? Going to the menus in songs with lots of time signature changes can be such a hassle. Thanks.

Sorry, but I can't think of a good shortcut system for it. Using ALT in shortcuts is a no-go due to how the menu system works and compound shortcuts like the one you described would take more than a small amount of work to add. Probably the best I would have time to do is assign a keyboard shortcut to "Beat>Time signature>Custom" (which only takes 4 keystrokes to bring up) or to a new dialog function where you have to type # / # (including the slash), which would save the author from having to use the mouse to change fields, but that's about it. Let me know if either of those sounds worthwhile.

KB shortcuts to "Time Signature > Custom" and "Time Signature > Convert" like you described sounds like a great idea, and, to be honest, that was just some goofy example I gave so you could understand what I was saying (lol).

I can't immediately think of any good, related shortcuts that are available. All of the 'T', 'S' and 'C' shortcuts with all combinations of CTRL and SHIFT are already assigned. Even so, these menu functions can be reached using the keyboard (ie. ALT+B, S, C accesses the "Beat>Time signature>Custom" function). Instead of making a separate menu function for setting a time signature where #/# is typed in manually, I could probably change the custom time signature dialog so that the top input field accepts that format.

Also, maybe add support for the TAB button, as in going from the top box to the bottom box without resorting to the mouse?

I'll look into it, but I can't guarantee it can be made to work.

With some help I was able to fix it so that the tab key works in all the dialogs. I prefer to use shortcuts that correspond to the first letter in a function's name, but since those are all in use (all those using T, S, C or B) I can't think of a shortcut that would make sense.

I don't believe you should worry too much about that, any shortcut would do to be honest, not a lot of people will be using a feature like this anyways; nevertheless, big thanks to you.

SHIFT+I would be available, how about that? Since tab will work, it wouldn't be necessary to allow #/# to be typed into one field would it? It would still be the same number of keystrokes.

Sounds good! I appreciate it. [offtopic] Also, it seems that if you select any number of notes, mark it as a solo/trill/tremolo then save WHILST the notes are still selected, one of the them (most likely the last one) will be left out of the solo/trill/tremolo part and won't be counted by Phase Shift.

That phrase issue you mentioned sounds like it may be a bug with Phase Shift, I can't reproduce any problems examining EOF's MIDI. I can't think of any reason the MIDI would export differently depending on whether any notes were selected. If you wanted to be sure, import the MIDI back into EOF and see how it's displayed.

Yeah, probably a problem with Phase Shift itself: When you hit Ctrl + S, the note gets deselected by EOF, but when imported back everything seems normal.
