I mainly want a way to figure out at the very least a rough estimate on what a song's 6* cutoff is. There may not be a way, but if someone does know, then it's greatly appreciated.
Well we basically total up all the notes and tail lengths to generate the total base score if the multiplier was always x1. So each Note gets 25 points and the tails give 5 points per 8th note. Then basically I use the same values as RB2 on the 360 to generate the ranks.
So if we are using guitar the ranks are. 1 Star 0.21 2 Stars 0.46 3 Stars 0.77 4 Stars 1.85 5 Stars 3.08 6 Stars 4.52 So for 6 rank you'd need to get a score greater than ( base score x 4.52 )
