I'm sure this has been asked loads of times before, but I wasn't able to find any post about it here , so I'll just ask. (By the way , I don't usually use forums , so if I'm in the wrong place , just move my post (if that's how it works))
Is there any way to play without strum? I'm planning on getting a ps3 guitar hero controller , but for now I'm stuck with my keyboard and it's pretty difficult to get used to strumming while playing.

Learn to use search. You have a few options, Mr. I-don't-want-to-play-the-game-as-intended - Move the guitar/bass chart over to the keys part using EOF
- Using software or hardware trickery, have every fret press "strum"
- Wait for your guitar controller like a good little lad and play the game right
*~EDIT~* EOF, or known by its full project name Editor On Fire, is the main and recommended chart editing tool for Phase Shift. There is a specific topic inside of the DWSK forums for EOF and its support. If you need more information about EOF, you can check out the FretsOnFire Forum as well as Customs Forge forums.

well, you can always play "keys", thats the closest you can get of no struming in phase shift. Also where is the fun of playing without struming, too easy, just practice a bit, maybe play it starting at "easy" mode, and ull get the handle of it.
