what exactly does the GH Import button in EOF do? i know it can open a file, but it doesnt say what file type. was this something made to help bluzer with importing songs from the GH games? if not, what does it do?

EOF's manual describes that import in great detail. This is for importing files in Guitar Hero's native formats (NOTE or QB).

ah, ok, well do you think it would be possible to add an option that can import the songs from Guitar Hero 3 PC, like a custom song that you had gotten ahold of but the download for it on the internet got removed and you no longer have the original file on your computer, or a way to import the chart file from GHTCP (.qbc and .dbc)?

In GHTCP export it as a .dbc file and with that rename it to .chart(because that's what it is) then you can import it into EOF with the Feedback Import function.

You should be able to extract the MP3 audio from the file with fsbext. I doubt its XEN encrypted like the original audio files from the game.
