Hello there , i was making a theme by myself but when i was on it i had some problems and i would like to ask you if you know how to You don't have to ask all of them, with one of them i am more than happy #1 I was making moving lines in my theme and they also rotate but then this happens: (also i changed this theme from RB2 and the font kept in the theme it's like the game is not recognizing alpha that much, because there are no black borders neither on the cirlce or in the lines, Does someone know how to fix this? #2 On the image you can also see the music player on the upper right that you can't see it at all, i can see it when my resolution is 1366x768, but if make it smaller or bigger, the player doesn't keep on the corner, is there any way to do this? #3 and my last question, Is there any way to make some FX that makes an image fade out? like from start has 100 opacity and end has 0 opacity I hope i can get some answers, and i would really appreciate it Thank you ^^

when working with layers and alpha you need to be aware of the render order, this is the order of elements in the ini file itself
if an object is closer to the camera but the ini is set to draw it after then you will run into glitches with overlaps when alpha is involved
for the screen cropping of the music player, if you check the code for the back / select icons you should see an example of how to add hovering elements that can reposition with the screen
fades are possible, you should be able to find an example in the bluewave abstract background as an element is set to fade in / out on ps activation

To keep it simple, in the ini keep the z position 0 for all the elements(it goes x,y,z) that way the layer draw order is consistent. The last element in the ini will be the topmost in game.
Looking forward to see how this progress i really like djmax style.

Thank you guys for your answers! and i am also happy that you know DJMAX and i am no the only one that knows what game is it (what is what i thought when i was posting this) At first i want to say thanks to your replies, since now my question #2 is solved About the first one, i think there is no solution to this, since the problem is that it messes up because the rotation of the lines are X,Y, and sometimes Z, instead of being a simple rotation. I will have to look for another effect to make it look cool About the quesiton 3, i think i found the solution in the effect that buttons do when changing from one image to other, i can do some changes there Thanks for the replies, i will keep on this ^^

Normally you want to avoid x and y rotation since they will always glitch the other layers.

Sorry for bothering again, but i got another question that i would like to get answered if possible. Is like the same quesiton i did before, but instead of moving an object when changing resolution, i would want to resize the item as well. I had to manually resize it to some size to make the selecting bar touching the edges of the screen no mather the resolution is, but it looks a bit bad: windowed: My max resolution: You can see the higher resolution you have the more you see the bar. I would like to make the bar look the same no matter the resolution you have, and this is done i guess scaling the image, is there any way to make this? Thanks in advance Seyren

what you are talking about is aspect ratio not specifically resolution, objects scale with resolution but not with aspect ratio
widescreen ratios basically gives you an extended view while narrow ones will crop the sides, you'll need to design the menus with that in mind

Ok here i am again to annoy you :S Here is a quick concept of the Setlist I know it looks really ugly at the moment, and i am not basing this on any actual DJMAX Game, since it's really hard for me to do that with Phase Shift. My intentions right now are: Change the Playlist window with other one or the same than Difficulty (to keep some simmetry and make it look better), Change the static background and put some cool animations like the main menu, i will think about something. Now here is the real problem: I want to change album Box to make it a Circle, similar to this: Example I can't actually make it look like the example above (since i don't know how to rip files or anything, i am a noob at photoshopping,i actually use Paint.NET and i am very bad at it, however i love making themes, and this is the first theme i actually code ) but i am trying to make some kind of my own "Select Music",and that Disc in the middle is something i would like to do. What do you think? Is this possible? Too hard? Looks ugly? Let me know ^^ I am sorry for posting and crying for help very often, i am bad at doing this even if i love it D: Thanks in advance. Seyren.

Well its up to you if you want to edit the album art itself, but if you want it to be more general so you don't need theme specific album art you could try and work with a frame, so you have a layer above with a hole, so the frame is making it look round while its still reading the standard files
Or if you want to get a bit more experimental it may be possible to exploit the draw order alpha glitches to position invisible layers above the album art to hide the corners, can't say how well it would work but it might be possible
