Any chance of adding a Band multiplier for when more than one person has activated overdrive/starpower?

even though its a very RB thing, i must say coop play could use some bonuses to make it more interesting.

How exactly does this work in the other games? WoR : -For each player that has a maximal multiplier (*6 on bass, *4 on other instruments), you get a band multiplier (*1 for one person, *2 for 2, and so on) -For each star power activation, it makes another band multiplier You might have more details by seeing some videos on le Youtube I don't really know for Rock Band though

I don't see in that vid how the Band multiplier is represented. Is there an icon that show's how much the band multiplier is currently active?

i think its the lightbulb next to the score frame, notice it is x3 until vocals hits x4. As for RB, it only seemed to get bonuses with simultanious overdrive activations (i could be wrong) and in rb3 also there is unison bonus which gives double SP.
Edit: Ninja'd once again.

JD. You're correct about how Rock Band rewards for unison phrases.
When you're playing in a band in Rock Band, the instruments do not get their own individual overdrive multiplier, instead it goes to the band multiplier. The band multiplier stacks by factors of 2 for every overdrive activation. So if 4 people activated overdrive in close succession, their total multiplier would be 8 and it goes to the band total. So if a guitarist hits a single note with his own 4x multiplier on a 8x band multiplier, the note is worth the 100pts times the band multiplier, which ends up being 800pts. The points accumulate quickly in very hard note phrases or with heavy chord use.
I would like to see a fusion of the best parts of both mainstream rhythm games band multiplier schemes in Phase Shift, but something tells me that DWSK wants to go for something more unique...

How GH5/WOR score multiplier works:
Instead of having individual scores, all the players share the same score.
The initial multiplier for that global score is 1.
-Every time a player is having a x4 Multiplier, it adds a multiplier to the global score, making it for one player having a x4 multiplier to have a global multiplier of x2, if there are 2 players with the x4 individual multiplier, the global score will have a x3 multiplier and so on.
There are some group phrases like star power, however this ones appears to all players at the same time no matter what instrument they are playing(you can see some golden notes in the the video that Gyoo showed), if they all play that phrase, the global score will be multiplier, this means, that if the global score has a x4 multiplier, it will go x8.
I hope i explained myself properly, if anyone had a doubt about how it works ^^
