Hello,
I've found a very old thread on a very old forum about exporting songs to .chart format for EOF. I'd be interested in a feature like this since I'm more and more asked to have my work done on .chart format too so that GH3 players can play my songs.
Is it still a feature you want to add one day ?
Gyoo.

EOF can't do that, but there is some sort of converter that can go from .chart to .mid format or vice versa. This may be your best bet.

Well, converters or GHTCP don't seem to be able to parse EOF mid files... I've tried with several of them, always failed

Odd that they can't handle valid MIDI files. Have you tried having them process one of EOF's "RBN" compatible MIDIs?

Is there one easily available ?

Just enable the user preference to save separate Rock Band files, and EOF will create a notes_rbn MIDI file during save.

Looks like it works mostly. I managed to convert the file, then there are buggy things but eh, I can fix it. Thanks for the tip

If you have a Midi-Format with separated tracks its very simple to get them into Eof. But what do you do if there is just a mp3 or wav file with the whole song. How can i split it up to the each instrument tracks?

Even professional softwares can hardly do that so don't expect to split instruments from a master track.
(Plus this is not the good thread for that but nevermind)
