Yay, the songs are almost finished. I would of help chart them since I have a hobby of note charting songs but I wasn't in the mood.

So you don't waste time, read through the entire thread to see if anybody has called Dibs on a unfinished chart, and ask if you're unsure about something. Quality over quantity! @asskcick do you plan to do more work on the "Haze" chart? If not, I plan to finish up all the difficulties for all the instruments this week. @mods don't let this slow you guys down from releasing the game on time.

Hi David,
On practice mode, does it matter what the section names are called as long as they contain brackets? Say a section marker was called "section [verse_2a]" would this be read in game as "section [verse_2a]" or just "verse_2a" or would it not be read as a section at all?
Thanks

Thanks What it should be typed in as is "[section verse_2a]". That's how sections will be labeled and viewed in-game as "verse_2a". I also tried labeling my own sections. It seems that capitalisation and whitespaces work, too.

I would like to mention something important.
I've noticed that if you chart with Feedback dB, adding sections doesn't require you to do [section <section_name>], since Feedback already writes the events like such.
And since Feedback navigates faster around beats, I would recommend you guys to use it when adding sections, cause it would probably save some time, and it would prevent from some event writing errors to happen.
You still need to use Chart2Midi2Chart to convert the charts to midi, but I guess that anyone that knows how to chart should have that Java program anyways.
EDIT: Actually I remember if you do so, it would probably remove all the real instruments from the chart, so I guess you shouldn't do that, unless you add in the sections BEFORE charting the song.
